Laguna Bridge, Santa Catarina, Brazil

The Laguna Bridge, Brazil’s first cable-stayed curved bridge, was built over the Imaruí and Santo Antônio lagoons to alleviate traffic on highway BR-101. For this project, we developed more than 20 types of concrete, including submerged, stabilized and self-compacting concrete, with controlled initial strengths and elasticity modulus.
