High-Speed Rail (AVE), Spain

Our products and solutions played a key role in the development of Spain’s high‑speed rail network, the largest in Europe and a benchmark in innovation and sustainable mobility. We supplied 1.6 million cubic meters of concrete and produced 600,000 tons of cement at our Toral de los Vados plant, supporting the construction of long tunnels and major viaducts across one of the country’s most challenging regions. The project helped expand a modern rail system that connects key cities and enhances territorial cohesion.
