Amanhã Museum, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the Amanhã Museum was built between 2012 and 2015 on the site of the former Mauá Pier in the port area of the city of Rio de Janeiro. To withstand the effects of sea air and direct contact with the waters of Guanabara Bay, the museum was built with special cements to ensure the durability of the concrete and enable its innovative architecture.
