Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant, Paraná, Brazil

In 1977, we helped build the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant, one of the world’s largest generators of clean energy. We supplied 70% of the cement used in the project (the equivalent of approximately 35 million bags of cement), resulting in an impressive dam that stretches for almost 8 km.
